The Southern Misfit Studios is Atlanta’s only mobile art studio that brings the art making to you! We specialize in hosting creative, pop-up art events because we believe our affordable, accessible, and art-centric events bring value to local communities by offering a unique opportunity for neighbors and peers to connect with each other.
We are dedicated to community building through the arts by creating unique and memorable experiences through creating. We pop up at your local, Atlanta, small businesses for public events or we can come to your home, business, church, etc,. to host your private event: canvas painting, crafting, paint your pet - we can bring any of your creative visions to life!

team building
We can create a custom painting that relates to your team and your mission! This is such a special way to connect with your peers and collaborate in a unique way. We often will create an image that overlaps onto multiple canvases, encouraging everyone to problem solve and trouble shoot their paintings together.
canvas events
The paint and sip style events are our most common style of event and probably the one you are the most familiar with! These have been around since 2009, and our lead instructor has 8+ years of experience teaching these kinds of events. We can bring any of your painting ideas to life! Landscapes, flowers, Bob Ross scenes… the possibilities are endless.
paint your pet
This is our absolute top seller and fan favorite! This is a specialty event that we are experts in over at Southern Misfit Studios. Very few (if any) studios do this type of event! How it works is, you send in a high-quality photo of your pet and we pre-sketch it on the canvas for you! You come to class and get to fill it in with our professional guidance. This class is a dream combination of commissioning an artist to paint your pet and of you doing it yourself!
