BIO.

Juleah is an emerging, visual artist currently working in Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Marketing from The University of North Georgia with a concentration in Painting and Photography. She prioritizes resourcefulness in her art practice by utilizing found and repurposed materials such as discarded paint and textiles to challenge the definition of a painting. Her paintings actively reference her memory and photographs combined with imagination to tell stories of her annual camping road trips through the United States. In between camping, creating, and exhibiting work all over the U.S, Juleah involves her local art community in her art practice by hosting immersive, art events including: art pop ups, community-building podcast interviews, and paint classes through her mobile, creative event service - Southern Misfit Studios.
