Location: Oglethorpe University
Event Type: Bob Ross Misty Waterfall

Date: February 25th, 5:00 - 7:00pm

Wooo! This was definitely one of our most exciting bookings to date! We had the incredible opportunity to host a painting event for 40 students at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.

Many people don’t know this about us, but we’re actually equipped to host events for up to 100 people—or more, if that’s what you need! We’re all about making it happen for you, no matter the size of the group.

Our two talented instructors, Juleah and Aida, led the session and had an absolute blast with the students. The energy, creativity, and fun were truly contagious, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group to work with. Most of the students followed along with the painting, but we absolutely loved that some took their own creative liberties—and that’s something we always encourage at Southern Misfit Studios.

We don’t believe in keeping artists in a box, even if it’s just for a two-hour class. At Southern Misfit Studios, we embrace non-conformity, and that’s exactly why we chose the name “Misfit.” Creativity has no rules, and we’re all about celebrating individuality in every aspect! We’re already looking forward to returning to Oglethorpe for an even bigger event. Taking time to be creative—especially as a busy student—is essential for maintaining a more balanced work/school life, and we’re thrilled to be part of that experience.
