Another Year, Another Amazing Paint Night at Oglethorpe 🎨

Some events just become traditions, and our paint night at Oglethorpe University is quickly becoming one of our favorites.

After such an incredible turnout last year, we were so excited to be invited back, and once again, the students showed up in the best way. The room filled quickly with a huge crowd of college creatives, all ready to unwind, connect, and make something with their hands.

There’s something really special about hosting events in a college setting. Life can feel so fast-paced and full during those years, so getting to create a space where students can slow down for a couple of hours, laugh with friends, and tap into their creativity feels extra meaningful.

From the moment everyone grabbed a brush, the energy was light, social, and full of excitement. Tables of friends painted side by side, hyping each other up, sharing ideas, and not taking things too seriously, which always makes for the best kind of art.

And just like last year, the turnout did not disappoint. Seeing such a strong, enthusiastic group show up again reminds us how much these creative moments matter, especially in spaces where people don’t always get the chance to slow down and make art just for fun.

By the end of the night, canvases were drying, new friendships were sparked, and everyone left with something they created themselves, which never gets old.
